SHE/HER

ā€œWhether you are just beginning therapy or are looking to return to therapy again, my hope is that you feel seen and welcomed by me.ā€

Hi, I’m so glad you’re here!

I am a licensed psychologist with over 8 years of clinical experience, with specialized training in treating complex trauma and working from an attachment focus. I enjoy helping people connect with their most authentic selves - whether through rediscovering themselves after being molded into someone they are not or exploring new parts of themselves they never had the chance to discover.

In addition to being a psychologist, I am also a mom, wife, and educator. When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family, being in nature, exploring new parks, and reading fantasy books (when my toddler allows…). As an ADHDer, I am often trying new things - whether that’s a new restaurant, hobby, workout class, or show/movie. Most recently, I’ve been slowly working my way through the Throne of Glass series… no spoilers please!

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from Spalding University

  • 8 years of clinical experience in a variety of settings - including university counseling centers, community mental health centers, and an inpatient psychiatric hospital

  • Provides supervision to licensed psychological associates and doctoral student clinicians in training

  • Experience teaching undergraduate psychology courses, graduate clinical psychology courses, and conducting research focusing on topics surrounding mental health stigma

  • Experience providing organizational consultation and trainings - including topics of communication skills, employee mental wellness, organizational structure & functioning, power dynamics, and burnout

  • Provides educational presentations over topics related to mental health & wellness - including imposter syndrome, boundary setting, trauma, neurodivergence, mindfulness, and cultural & identity-specific experiences

Have you tried therapy before but it just didn’t click….? Or, maybe you saw change for awhile but then your progress stalled. Either way, you are looking for more…

Working with me, you’ll have a therapist who isn’t just a neutral observer. You’ll have one who takes an active role in our work together and invites you to do the same. I’ll highlight your patterns, help you understand the role they play in your suffering, and compassionately guide you toward a more authentic way of living.

My experience has taught me…

A strong therapeutic relationship is an absolute must for our work to be successful

The work has to be guided by a deep understanding of you, your experiences, and your needs – not a rigidly followed treatment protocol

Therapy has to occur collaboratively – because you hold the answers to your healing – even if you don’t know it yet

Therapy requires depth to promote lasting change – we need more than worksheets and basic coping skills to reconnect you with your authentic self

Our bodies hold more answers than we give them credit – we need to learn how to notice their truth
